Program at a glance

Nordbatt2019 runs over 3 days with 33 talks including 6 invited talks. In addition the conference facilitates close networking between participants during the breaks, a 4-hours breakout session, a poster session and different social events. The conference is organized such that each day has a different focus.

The first day will introduce the entire battery value chain from raw materials to cells, batteries, applications and recycling. For this day, we have invited a broader audience that would like to be updated on the trends within battery development and application.

The second day will focus on the scientific advances in the Nordic battery community. Most of the talks will focus on the battery chemistry. To facilitate network and enable new experiences, this day includes a 4-hour breakout session with the possibility to engage in a battery related event with other Nordbatt2019 participants.

The third day will cover two different subjects; Recycling and regulation. Recycling and reuse will be increasingly important to bring down life time costs of batteries and ensure access of raw materials. Regulation within transport and environmental regulation is very important for companies working with batteries and a number of talks and discussions will discuss these issues.
