Multiphysics simulations provide cost-effective solutions for understanding and optimizing electrochemical devices such as batteries. In this workshop, the modeling of battery performance management, capacity fade and aging, internal short circuits, and thermal management will be presented.
The main focus will be on lithium-ion batteries. We will also give a brief overview of other chemistries, including next-generation batteries like all-solid-state lithium-ion and lithium-air batteries.
