Members of the family of titania polymorphs are here studied to see\nhow structure affects electrochemical properties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditionally, electrode materials for intercalation-type\nbatteries have been crystalline. However, nanosized or disordered materials\nshow interesting electrochemical properties as well. To probe a more local\nstructure and limited range of order, total scattering and pair distribution\nfunction (PDF) analysis is a powerful tool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, PDF analysis is utilized in this study to\nexplore some of the manifold titania polymorphs.
